Sitting wondering what connections exist between artwork is sometimes hard to do. Looking for justification, so that you get the right context, can be paralysing when it comes to creation. As an artist I’m realising that I do things because I know I should, I could probably quote you some french philosophy to back up whatever I do when I do it but its not until I reach retrospective rationalisation that my true connection becomes clear. This often occurs months / years later.
