The Constant Gardener
Posted by Rob | Filed under Actors, All Drawings, London, Portraits
Just over a year ago we spent a day on the set of the Constant Gardener. I sat in the audience of the memorial service in a very cold church in West London and watched Bill Nighy’s brilliant acting. This is a drawing of Fernando Meireilles the director who seemed to just let the actors get on with it. Have yet to see the film but have read the John Le Carre book and with such a good story, it will no doubt be worth watching.
Like the drawing of Katie Holmes I also put this one onto aluminium. I’m attempting to put together a series of acting drawings that are redrawn onto silver surfaces.
As I’ve yet to sort out my painting and sculpture side of my website I’m adding the painting to this post.
