I had no time to draw today. The Best Man duties meant that nearly every minute of the day was covered with some form of job.
The blessing ceremony was profound, beautiful and full of people giving of themselves in order to bless Matt and Tash’s wedding. The list of people who helped make this day special is massive but it was all done with beautiful intentions and a huge amount of love.
Some days fly by too quickly and when I draw I often hope that within that image an essence of what that day meant to me is captured. There was so much held within this day that no drawing could do justice to what it meant to me and the honour it was for me to be my brother’s Best Man.

Today was totally unexpected.
Matt Pepper and the now Natasha Pepper had the civil ceremony in order to have their own blessing ceremony outside tomorrow. We had not thought much about the fact that in the eyes of the law they were getting married today as all the focus had been on tomorrow. So it wasn’t until we arrived at the registary office did it dawn that in fact the two of them were actually going to be unified.
The tears started during Aimie’s reading and Matt struggled through his vows, but that soon changed when Tash confused the word Wife and Husband up in hers. I’ll post some photos of the weekend soon.

This weekend sees the wedding of Matt Pepper to Tasha Estelle. I am going out to Oxfordshire to be best man and then going on a small holiday where there will be no phones and no internet. I’ll continue to draw but this is the last post you’ll see for the next ten days.
Have a good time whilst I’m away and enjoy Raphael.
I don’t like my new Parker Pen

In an attempt to try some new things I spent a little extra and bought myself a Parker Pen. It was rubbish and this is the result. The drawing is of our local pub the Hemmingford in Barnsbury. Arguably the best local in London.
