Even Posh Places Need TLC
June 29, 2006 on 3:20 am | In All Drawings, London | No CommentsThe Compendiums are doing incredibly well and I only have 4 subscriptions left for the whole year, this is the only option of getting all 12 of these books. Each month there a certain amount of single copies left and January being the first month there are only a few available.
Each edition I write an essay to talk about what the drawings have been about that month. For June I wanted to try and do something a little different so I asked a select group of people to write about a drawing that they feel drawn to. With a few days left the writings so far have been great. You’ll notice that this has caused a little flurry of comments which has made this month quite enjoyable.
This drawing was done last night on a Guerrilla Gardening expedition down to the Brompton Rd with Richard, his Mum (& her great stories), Aimie and Mark. The mission for me was to try and capture an image that represents the process so that we can make it into a hoodie. Having done a drawing earlier in the month this was an attempt to do the background.
I’ve Joined Youtube
June 28, 2006 on 12:21 pm | In All Drawings, Video Drawings | 2 CommentsI now have a way to see the video drawings more easily and for you to share them because I’ve joined Youtube. I’m a little concerned about what might happen to the Full Lotus video now as already in 3 hours of uploading it has been viewed around 100 times.

How I Eat My Jelly Baby
June 25, 2006 on 2:04 pm | In All Drawings | 8 CommentsAs a few of you know I like to be treated as if I’m a rock star. I often ask for cheers as I come on to talk somewhere or as Don Chaffer did for me got 800 people in St Louis to chant my name, today I had a new way of feeling special and that was by a very small ginger haired boy gave me a Jelly Baby as soon as I arrived in the building. I celebrated this form of gift by drawing the various stages of eating it.
My favourite one is the second one, I think he is whistling.

Champagne Socialists
June 23, 2006 on 1:58 pm | In All Drawings, London | No CommentsWe ended up in Hyde Park as the sun set today and found it full of people flirting and kicking their footballs. It was a sign of the times however that the vast majority were all drinking champagne. Even the young girls drinking straight from a bottle prefered Moet & Chandon over our childhood drink of choice - Laser Cider.
