Two Dead Telephone Boxes
Posted by Rob | Filed under All Drawings, London
Living just of the Caledonian Rd in North London means that in our area there are some quite colourful young people. Every year around Guy Forkes Night (November 5th when we celebrate, with letting of fireworks, the almost blowing up of the Houses of Parliament) the local kids decide to put fireworks into telephone boxes and closing the door. These two dead telephone boxes had just had their glass replaced when they decided to let more fireworks off for NYE. So the cycle goes on and the telephone company will come and replace the glass again, only for it to be blown up once more.
I see the Dead Telephone Boxes as a partner for the original Two Red Telephone Boxes Made nearly 4 years ago now.
