Just Cruising
February 28, 2007 on 10:23 am | In All Drawings | 1 CommentMe and my homies cruising the streets of Islington. The hundred or so speed bumps don’t really help in the coolness stakes, or in fact the smoothness of this drawing.

Inner St Pauls
February 25, 2007 on 12:02 pm | In Churches, Interiors | No CommentsReturning to the inner part of St Pauls for once and I find myself drawing the surround area of the place where the crucixion is that I drew for the Doxology drawings a couple of years ago. I left out the crucifixion in the drawing above and added it in with photoshop. The original lithograph is below.
Saturday Night Live
February 24, 2007 on 11:52 am | In All Drawings | No CommentsThis is what I get up to late on a Saturday Night. Sitting alone in darkened room with only some children toys to keep me company.
It was actually drawn at 1.30am as I helped out with a homeless shelter and with all quiet I thought I’d take a moment to really concentrate on the harsh realities that exist for some people. Deep thoughts didn’t last long and I was soon thinking about rocking horses and wanting to play cars.
The Day The Lion Got Married
February 23, 2007 on 11:21 am | In People | No CommentsToday I watched a lion get married. My old school friend Jo married Dimitri at The Marylebone Registry Office (the same place as where Paul and Linda McCartney got married) and I believe this wedding was as rock and roll as theirs was. Dimitri decided that if he was going to have to wear something stupid then he may as well wear a Lion Suit. So he did.
Freedom Bird - One Voice To End Slavery
February 22, 2007 on 4:33 am | In All Drawings | No CommentsThis is a drawing for a front cover of a poetry book which will be sold at The Freedom Day - The One Voice To End Slavery conference that is going on at Vanguard University, Costa Mesa, California on Sunday 25th March.
Many believe slavery ended in the 1800’s. Unfortunately, the truth is that slavery is more wide-spread than ever. There are an estimated 27 million individuals enslaved in our world today. Slavery knows no gender, age, culture or religion. There are enslaved people in every nation on the planet, including the United States. The US State Department estimates that at least 17,500 people are trafficked against their will into the US every year. Human beings are being commodified.
What will we do about it? Change is possible and hope is alive.
A new abolitionist movement is rising. One Voice, One Act… Solidarity to See An End of Slavery in our Time

February 21, 2007 on 11:27 am | In All Drawings | 1 CommentTHIS GIG HAS NOW SOLD OUT
Aimie has been working hard on the TTIS campaign and today Black Rebel Motorcycle Club have announced that they are playing a gig on 6th March with all proceeds going towards TTIS
From BRMC website - It’s been almost a year and a half since they last played a full set in London, so we are very happy to let you know BRMC will be playing the Bloomsbury Ballroom on March 6. Tickets cost £16 and are available exclusively to BRMC fans first. A presale will start selling a limited number of tickets, today (Wednesday, Feb 21) at mid day via gigsandtours.com
http://www.gigsandtours.com/?s=black+rebel+motorcycle&site=blackrebelmotorcycle
Tickets will go on general sale on Friday.
Proceeds from the show will go towards The Truth Isn’t Sexy (TTIS).
TTIS is raising awareness amongst younger people about the realities of sex trafficking. Shockingly, there are more people traded in forms of modern-day slavery than at the height of the slave-trade. Between 600,000 and 800,000 people worldwide are trafficked every year, many of those into the UK.
More info about TTIS can be found here:

February 20, 2007 on 4:11 am | In Interiors | No CommentsAimie and I went to the opening of a new photographic exhibition called Slave Britain at St Pauls Cathedral today. It ended up being a great networking event for The Truth Isn’t Sexy Campaign which aims to raise awareness about Sex Trafficking to young people. Here is a little press info about Slave Britain.
Slave Britain: The 21st Century Trade in Human Lives © Karen Robinson/Panos Pictures
As Britain prepares to commemorate 200 years since the abolition of the slave trade, a new Panos exhibition at St Paul’s Cathedral reveals how human trafficking is a bitter reality for thousands of women, men and children in the UK today. Slave Britain artfully documents the ordinary lives and everyday locations caught up in trafficking and calls for an end to this illegal 21st century trade. The show is produced by Panos Pictures in partnership with Amnesty International, Anti-Slavery International, Eaves and UNICEF UK.
