Blackhawks Down

Whilst watching a game at Kyle Field between Texas A & M and Kansas State a Blackhawk Helicopter made a flyover in recognition of the war against terror. George H Bush was also there (as he was when I went to see the Astros play - I do wish he would stop stalking me) and he pinned a medal on a guy who had his face destroyed in Iraq.

Cadillac Ranch

In deepest darkest West Texas there is a multi millionaire called Stanley Marsh who is slighlty eccentric. He decided to plant a series of Cadillacs and lets people come and spray paint them. We spent an afternoon painting them up and I made a drawing on the front one.

What worried me most about this all was how easily it all came to my 17 year old brother Theo. After days in a car driving across West Texas he all of a sudden perked up with the thought of tagging.
