Combine

The combine harvester holds a special resonance for me. As a child I grew up in Devon (a beautiful agricultural county) and we would sing songs about the mighty machine. I thought I’d share the chorus from a song written by the Wurzels:
‘Cos I got a brand new combine harvester. An’ I’ll give you the key
Come on now let’s get together. In perfect harmony
I got twenty acres. An’ you got forty-three
Now I got a brand new combine harvester. An’ I’ll give you the key’
