Combine
October 7, 2007 on 6:27 am | In All Drawings, Digit n spit, Texas | No CommentsThe combine harvester holds a special resonance for me. As a child I grew up in Devon (a beautiful agricultural county) and we would sing songs about the mighty machine. I thought I’d share the chorus from a song written by the Wurzels:
‘Cos I got a brand new combine harvester. An’ I’ll give you the key
Come on now let’s get together. In perfect harmony
I got twenty acres. An’ you got forty-three
Now I got a brand new combine harvester. An’ I’ll give you the key’

Capitol Hill
September 30, 2007 on 6:24 pm | In All Drawings | No CommentsDrawing Austin’s Captiol Hill made me feel at home. It reminds me of drawing St Paul’s cathedral again. You’ll be pleased to know that it looks like the Senate House in Washington and because we’re in Texas it’s bigger too.
