Covent Garden is full of street performers. Some of them are really excellent, others seem to fall on deaf ears. This drawing points to a more interesting performance than it actually was.

People may think that there’s not a lot to do of an evening whilst down in Lyme Regis, Dorset but when the Thame players are putting on a performance of “The Importance Of Being Ernest” at The Marine Theatre then these doubters are proved wrong.
The Constant Gardener
November 17, 2005 on 5:23 pm | In Actors, All Drawings, London, Portraits | No CommentsJust over a year ago we spent a day on the set of the Constant Gardener. I sat in the audience of the memorial service in a very cold church in West London and watched Bill Nighy’s brilliant acting. This is a drawing of Fernando Meireilles the director who seemed to just let the actors get on with it. Have yet to see the film but have read the John Le Carre book and with such a good story, it will no doubt be worth watching.
Like the drawing of Katie Holmes I also put this one onto aluminium. I’m attempting to put together a series of acting drawings that are redrawn onto silver surfaces.
As I’ve yet to sort out my painting and sculpture side of my website I’m adding the painting to this post.

Portrait Of Katie Holmes
